On the Talks between the Ambassador of Belarus and the Director General of Türkiye’s Meat and Milk Board

Talks were held in Ankara between Ambassador of Belarus Anatoly Glaz and Mücahid Taylan, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General of the Meat and Milk Board under the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Türkiye.

For reference. The Meat and Milk Board is a state regulatory body operating within the system of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Türkiye. The Board comprises 11 meat-processing plants and one dairy-processing plant.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to the development of the agro-industrial sectors of Belarus and Türkiye, reviewed in detail the current state and trends in bilateral trade in food and agricultural products, and noted mutual interest in deepening cooperation and exchanging best practices. Particular attention was paid to developing cooperation on a long-term basis. In this regard, a number of promising bilateral steps were agreed upon.
