The Ambassador of Belarus took part in solemn events dedicated to the 79th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War

On May 8 and 9, 2023, the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Türkiye together with the Embassy of the Russian Federation, held solemn events dedicated to the 79th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

On May 8, H.E. Viktar Rybak, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Türkiye took part in a festive concert with the participation of children of employees of the Embassy of Belarus “Victory Diplomacy: 1941 – 1945.” In his speech, V.Rybak emphasized the importance of preserving the memory and historical truth about the feat of the multinational Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War and not allowing our history to be rewritten.

On May 9, the teams of the Embassies of the CIS countries held sports competitions, dedicated to the Victory Day, in football, volleyball, tennis and table tennis.
